It’s 3:00 a.m. and I’m sitting in an RV park bathroom finishing up a sock. We headed out for our annual trip to Sturgis yesterday. It was a nice day for riding even if we did get into a little bit of rain.

The air pump for our mattress wouldn’t work last night. Then Dale and I remembered that the stupid mattress had a slow leak last year so blowing it up wasn’t gonna happen. I’d blow it up once if I knew it would stay up, but I’m not even trying if I’ll just have to do it every couple of hours. So we just put the bedding out on the floor of the tent and went to sleep. That’s why I’m up and sitting here at 3:00. Five hours of being cold and uncomfortable was enough “sleep” for me. I left Dale with all the blankets so maybe he could get enough sleep since he’s the one doing all the driving.

Check out these cute little watermelon amigurumi that I made! It’s a kit from Darn Good Yarn. They sent it to me as a part of their affiliate program so I could share it with you. Everything you need to make it is in there except a pair of scissors (and a stitch marker if you choose to use one). It has all the yarn, stuffing, needle, pattern for crochet and knitting, crochet hook, and a set of four knitting needles! I think these would be fun gifts, either as a finished project or to give the kit to a crocheter or knitter.
Aren’t they cute?
