I finally bought the yarn to join my hexipuffs. I chose Yarn Bee’s Must Be Merino. It’s a size 3 yarn with 50% Merino, 25% acrylic, and 25% nylon. The gold color really caught my eye. I thought it would be a nice medium tone-not too dark or too light. I got three skeins so I’d have plenty to join the puffs and have enough in case I need to replace some later.
A couple balls of colorful cotton yarn jumped into my basket, too. They’ll become dishcloths.
Three balls of Yarn Bee’s Color Idyll came home with me, too. It’s a size 1 with 50% Merino, 30% nylon, and 20% acrylic yarn. This should be good yarn to make a few pairs of socks. The leftovers will make some nice puffs for my quilt.
Speaking of socks, I started a new pair today. I’m using Patons’ Kroy Socks. The top bands, heels and toes will be black, and the legs and feet will be the turquoise jacquard. These are going to be a gift.
And the Puff count is now 347.
